Description
Dom Forker has recently published his second book on the Blessed Mother, Roses in December: Mary’s Garden of Miracles.Published by Fanstar, it contains 26 chapters on popular apparition sites—such as Guadalupe, Rue du Bac, Lourdes, Fatima, and Medjugorje—and 9 chapters on "Apostles of Mary," including Therese of Lisieux, Catherine Laboure, Padre Pio, Maximillian Kolbe, all of whom are saints, and Pope John Paul II "The Great."In addition, Forker promotes the causes of three current apparition sites: Our Lady of America, Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and Our Lady of Prince Edward Island, off the eastern coast of Canada. (Interestingly, at Prince Edward Island, Our Lord has predicted the destruction of seven major cities in Canada and the United States if they do not repent and return to God. Shades of Nineveh!) Two of the apparition sites, according to the author, will be officially approved by church authorities within the next year. Strangely, neither Canada nor the United States has ever had an officially approved apparition site. The major theme of the book comes from a quote by St. Maximilian Kolbe: "When all seems lost, turn to the Blessed Mother. She won’t fail you."Other subthemes of the book include: chastisements (punishments), mitigations (lessening of punishments through prayer), forgiveness, healings (the subtitle’s part of the book), fortitude, courage, hope, trust, and faith.Interestingly, the United States seems to be singled out by the Blessed Mother to lead the Free World successfully through the 21st Century, during which time Our Lady will continue to send us Roses in December. - from Amzon
